Teachers at State of Yoga (SOY) bring strong and diverse depth of knowledge to the classes we offer. Our diverse backgrounds allow students to experience the common ground of yoga with insights from complementary perspectives.

Sandrine KamhiSandrine's journey to yoga began in Geneva in 2002, when she was working as a children’s rights consultant for an NGO to improve education and children’s rights. She immediately fell in love with yoga, and before she knew it, yoga became her life.After years of practicing and studying consistently various styles of yoga, she began on her path as a teacher in 2009, in Istanbul, where she used to live. Since then, she has been completed several trainings in Vinyasa, Anusara, Ashtanga yoga, and naturally Jivamukti yoga to serve her students the best.In her years of practice as a teacher, she is recognized for her warm presence, positive energy, attitude, and spirit; and she has been teaching classes internationally, organizing workshops and retreats, mentorship programs, yoga teaching teacher training, and now extremely blessed to have found State of Yoga in March 2018.Sandrine's classes, playful and uplifting, create a supportive foundation for students to feel balanced, energized, and confident on and off the mat. Sandrine Kamhi

Vanessa Goncalves

Vanessa is a yoga teacher whose teaching style reflects her background in fluid movement, and places emphasis on the intelligence of the body to express itself organically through sensation. She holds space for her students to recognize and fully embrace what arises during practice. Whether you're new to yoga or an experienced yogi, Vanessa incorporates restorative poses and pranayama exercises intended to promote physical and energetic release. A firm believer in the benefits of an active lifestyle for physical and mental well-being, Vanessa practices what she preaches. Her aim is to help students explore their own balance between activity and rest, with a vision of bringing ease to body, mind, and spirit both on and off the mat.

Radha

Radha-Krishna Lila (Cristiane Silva) E-RYT 500 first learned Yoga in Brazil where she encountered the teachings of Bhakti Yoga. At the time Radha was a professional dancer and teacher who danced in Brazil and toured internationally as a lead dancer throughout Japan, Korea and the USA. In Brazil she learned about the devotional aspects of yoga and the physical practice but it was not until she moved to the United States that she became more involved in the many different forms of yoga. Dance led her to move to Miami, FL where she danced for three different dance companies. She studied and trained Hatha Yoga at Prana Yoga in Miami where she received her 200 hour teachers certification.

In 2009 she encountered the renowned master yogi Sri Dharma Mittra with whom she decided to learn from and eventually received her advanced 500 hour teachers’ certification at the Dharma Yoga Center in NY. Radha is now teaching at several yoga studios and locations in South Florida and leads retreats and trainings with her partner Benjamin Smielowitz. Radha and Benjamin are also musicians and singers and have produced three yoga, meditation and relaxation albums together.

Marta Jordan

Marta is an ontological life coach, yogini and mother of two wonderful girls. Born and raised in
Spain with an educational background including a BD in law and international professional
experiences in human resources and private banking in Ireland, Spain and US.
A new path in her life brought her certifications in ontological life coach, Reiki, Yoga and
Astrology. She is passionate about supporting people shine in their own unique ways through
their journeys with her knowledge and tools.
She started practicing yoga in 2004 and she deepened her practice taking her 200h certification
in Vinyasa and Yin Yoga with Fred Busch in Miami in 2015. Her classes provide a sense of
awareness, healing and balance the body and the mind. Marta believes in the need to take care
of your mind, body and soul to find the balance we want in our lives.

Belu Bergman

Belu is a Contemporary Circus Artist from Argentina. Her practice is focused on contortion and handstand. Furthermore, she is a dancer and a yoga practitioner. To maintain her demanding physical activity, much of her training is based on strength training. Movement and the eternal journey of developing body awareness is the priority of her daily life. Not only a performer but also a Flexibility and Handstand coach, she is happy to share tools so you can work to find balance in your hands!

Karina Catellani

Karina is a 500+ hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher with over five advanced certifications in Vinyasa, Hatha, Yoga Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Yoga. Originally from Argentina, she has spent nearly a decade sharing yoga across the U.S., Singapore, Thailand, Costa Rica, India, and beyond. Her global teaching journey has led her to guide students in some of the world’s most respected studios throughout the Americas and Asia.

Karina’s classes offer a thoughtful fusion of asanas, pranayamas, and mindfulness practices—designed to build strength, mobility, and balance in both body and mind. Known for her warm energy, kind heart, and humble, joyful spirit, she creates a welcoming space for all. Karina tailors each session to meet her students’ unique needs, helping them relieve stress, boost energy, stay grounded, and reconnect with themselves through breath and movement.

Beyond the studio, Karina has led wellness programs for global companies including Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp), Bank of America, and many more—bringing the benefits of yoga into fast-paced corporate environments to support holistic well-being.

She is also the founder of Treelance Yoga, a Latina-owned wellness brand offering eco-conscious yoga apparel and tools that promote mindfulness and work-life balance. Now a devoted mother to her baby Liam, Karina continues to weave her passion for movement, motherhood, and purpose into everything she shares—on and off the mat.

Eben Oroz

Eben has a Master's Degree in clinical psychology and has been teaching yoga, meditation, and breathwork for over a decade. After teaching yoga in LA for 4 years, Eben traveled and led global retreats for 4 more. He's been running ultra-marathons, hiking and camping in foreign mountain systems, practicing yoga in India, and harnessing the power of ritual in South America to enrich his understanding of state of mind, physical tenacity, and the human spirit. Now, he's focused on teaching to a community of like-minded peers and enjoying his new home and chapter in Miami.

Andrea Clemente

Andrea received her first 200 hour Hatha certification in 2014 through seniorteacher Chad Hamrin – an innovative and renowned “teacher’s teacher” – with whom she continues to study closely. She completed a second 200-hour training with YogaWorks in 2015, and completed their 300-hour professional program in 2016.

In 2016, she began addressing some chronic health issues with Ayurveda. Ayurveda goes hand-in-hand with yoga, and over the years she has learned that you can not truly practice one without the other. She has been incorporating the philosophies and practices of both Yoga and Ayurveda into her daily life ever since.

She believes that Yoga is an infinitely eye opening and profound tool one can use to heal. She has experienced this in her own life and practice and she loves sharing the journey with others.

Frankie Bonilla

Frankie has a soulful nature and is very dedicated to his practice.The whole essence of the yoga practice is extremely essential and integrated in his daily activities and overall way of life. He is passionate, committed, and has an ongoing education in yoga and healing. In his practice and teachings, he implements and reinforces the importance of mindfulness, posture, breathing, as well as keeping the harmony between the mind, body, and spirit. He incorporates his background in fitness and bodywork into the flow and transitioning of the asanas in his classes. He encourages students to detach from the past, future, and to live fully in the present moment, allowing themselves to restore peace, health, and balance in their life.

Meet Frankie on Sun 11am, Acro yoga for All

Maile GamezMaile’s yoga journey began 20 years ago at Jivamukti Yoga in New York. In 2005, she began practicing and studying Ashtanga Yoga under the guidance and direction of Gretchen Suarez. Maile has studied with many senior teachers and has completed several teacher training courses in Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga, including a 200-hour teacher training intensive with Tim Miller and a 200-hour certificate from Ahana Yoga in Miami. Since 2018, Maile has apprenticed under Day Christensen, assisting her and incorporating the foundations and core principles of the Day1Yoga Method to her practice, group classes and one-on-one instruction.Maile is passionate about making the practice accessible to all students and sharing her knowledge, and the skills she has acquired, with as many people as she can. Maile Gamez

Maile first connected with the practice of yoga in 2001 when she walked into the Jivamukti Yoga studio on Lafayette Street in New York. In 2005 she began a regular Ashtanga Yoga practice under the guidance and direction of her teacher Gretchen Suarez. Maile has studied with many senior teachers and has completed several teacher training courses, including a 200-hour teacher training intensive with Tim Miller, a 200-hour teacher training program at Ahana Yoga, and a Yoga for Trauma teacher training course with María Macaya, founder and president of Fundación Rādika.

Maile is passionate about making the practice accessible to all students and sharing the knowledge and ancient wisdom passed down from her teachers and informed by her daily practice with as many people as she can. Her classes blend knowledge and humor with an emphasis on conscious movement, breath and alignment. Off the mat, she is a communications and creative marketing consultant.

Benjamin Smielowitz

Benjamin's upbringing in a tight-knit Jewish community in New York instilled him with a curiosity for spirituality which eventually led him to search for more purpose and meaning in life. In his 20s, he began studying meditation and he found himself in the studio of Sri Dharma Mittra at The Dharma Yoga Center in NYC. There he became a certified 200 hour yoga instructor in 2003 and in 2007 certified at the 500 hour level. In 2009 Benjamin moved to Miami to find more sunshine and to leave the big city of New York behind, where he now teaches yoga full time, and leads workshops, retreats, trainings and kirtan with his beloved partner Radha Krishna Lila.

Camilla Olguin

Camilla is a 200 - Hour Registered Yoga Teacher and has been practicing yoga for 4+ years. She graduated from The Inspired Life Teacher Training in 2019 that ended in Guatemala.

In her classes she focuses on connecting to each and every pose through powerful assists and authentic expression. Camilla's focus on Yin yoga demonstrates how the breath is one of the most important tools in this practice. You will leave her class feeling fully restored and grounded.

Megan Eastman


Megan has been teaching yoga for 15 years and has 10 years experience of leading Yoga Teacher Trainings. Her dynamic and holistic style of teaching comes from a multitude of certifications including therapeutic/restorative yoga, Pilates, meditation and Breathwork. 

By merging these accreditations with a passion for community and connection, she's developed a multidimensional approach to support her students on their path toward a balanced life and peaceful way of being.
