Sandrine Kamhi

Founder of State of Yoga in Miami Beach, Sandrine is a yoga teacher and facilitator passionate about creating experiences that invite connection, presence, and self-discovery. Through yoga, breathwork, sound, and intentional community, she creates spaces that invite people to reconnect with themselves and rediscover the beauty of being fully alive.

Inna Gritsishina

Inna is a dedicated sound facilitator whose work is rooted in authenticity, compassion, and embodied presence. Through sound, ritual, and intentional gathering, she creates nurturing environments that support reflection, restoration, and meaningful connection.

Honeymoon suite

Breathtaking ocean view/King bed / AC

The king bed opens onto a private terrace with unobstructed views of the surrounding nature, and a second lounge area leads directly to the fire pit — the kind of detail you don't know you need until you're standing there at night. Double showers, double sinks, and a separate WC mean no compromises.

A wide, unhurried room with two queen beds and a single day bed, framed by a private terrace and garden. The bathroom keeps things private — independent WC, separate walk-in shower.

Ocean view/ 2 queen beds & 2 full size / AC

Two levels, four beds, lush garden all around. The lower floor holds two queens; the mezzanine has two double beds — a layout that gives everyone their own corner without splitting the group. One full bathroom, air conditioning throughout, and the kind of garden that makes the indoors feel optional.

Family bungalow

Partial ocean view/ 1 king bed & 1 queen bed/ 2 bathrooms/ AC

Right in front of Playa Aragón, with partial ocean view and the sea breeze doing most of the work. The bungalow has a king bed on the lower level and a mezzanine with a queen and a single — a layout that works naturally for families without anyone negotiating space. Two full bathrooms, one on each floor, and air conditioning throughout.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

  • 5-night accommodation and 6-day immersive experience (November 10-15, 2026). Check-in begins at 3:00 PM on November 10th, and departure is at 12:00 PM on November 15th.

  • Shared transportation to and from Puerto Escondido airport and Huatulco airports.

  • Twice-daily practices with Sandrine and Inna, including yoga, pranayama, breathwork, kirtan, sound immersion, meditation, yin, yoga nidra. 

  • Three nourishing, freshly prepared vegetarian meals served daily, beginning with dinner on November 10th, and concluding with breakfast following the closing practice on November 15th.

  • Temazcal ceremony

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need previous experience with yoga, sound or breathwork?

Not at all. This retreat is open to all levels. We encourage you to honor your own pace and experience.

How do I get to Mazunte?

The closest airports are Puerto Escondido (PXM) and Huatulco (HUX). Shared transportation to and from the airport is included in the retreat package.

Is the ceremony mandatory?

Participation in the ceremony is always a personal choice. We encourage each participant to honor their own needs, boundaries, and readiness throughout the retreat experience. Following the preparation process, facilitators may also determine that participation in the ceremony is not appropriate at this time, in order to support the well-being and safety of everyone involved.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely. Many participants attend retreats on their own. This intimate experience is designed to foster connection, community, and meaningful relationships.

Can I book a shared room if I’m traveling alone?

Double, triple, and quadruple occupancy rates are available for participants who choose to share accommodations. If you are registering with friends or family, you may reserve a shared room together.

If you are traveling on your own and would like to share accommodations, please let us know. We will do our best to match you with other participants interested in sharing accommodations. However, roommate matching cannot be guaranteed. If a suitable match is not found, the single occupancy rate will apply.

How do I know if this experience is right for me?

After you submit your application, we will schedule a brief video call to learn more about you, answer your questions, and ensure that this retreat is aligned with your intentions and current circumstances. Our priority is creating a safe and supportive experience for everyone involved.

How do I reserve my spot?

To begin the registration process, please contact us by email. We will send you additional information and schedule a brief video call to answer any questions and ensure that this experience is the right fit for you.

Following our conversation, you will receive a booking confirmation email along with instructions to submit your non-refundable $1,000 deposit to secure your place on the retreat.

What should I bring?

We recommend comfortable clothing for movement and relaxation, a yoga mat, swimsuits, walking shoes, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, and any personal items that support your well-being.

payment & CANCELLATION POLICY

A non-refundable deposit of $1000 is required to reserve your spot at time of registration.

This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Any payments made by credit card or internationally via Paypal will be subject any additional transaction fees.

Final payment in full is due no later than October 10th, 2026.

Cancellations on or before September 10th, 2026
You will forfeit your deposit of $1000. 
The remainder of your payment will be refunded to you.

Cancellations on or after September 10th, 2026
All payments made after September 10th, 2026 are non-refundable.

Due to the nature of the retreat, no refunds will be issued after September 10th, 2026 for any reason. However your ticket is transferable if you find someone else to join, pending approval.
This cancellation policy is strict and firm. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment.
Please, do not make any travel arrangements until you have received confirmation of your registration.
